How to play Sudoku

Select an empty square and enter a number from 1 to 9. Complete the grid so that each row, each column and each 3×3 box contains every number once.

Rules

• Each row must contain 1 through 9 without duplicates.
• Each column must contain 1 through 9 without duplicates.
• Each 3×3 box must also contain 1 through 9 without duplicates.

Tips

Start with rows, columns or boxes that already contain many numbers. Use elimination before guessing, and re-check conflicting candidates when you get stuck.
